#25 MARGATE GARDENS
This is a 2 bedroom-2 bathroom unit with 1400 square feet and air conditioning in each bedroom and in the main living/dining area. It is an end unit located next to the entrance gate across the main road from the South Coast Boardwalk, which provides an easy half mile walk to one of the best swimming beaches on Barbados. The unit is located in a secure and gated community, which has a shared swimming pool set in a beautifully maintained garden area.
This unit is non-smoking. It offers a full kitchen, large combined dining and living area with basic cable TV service provided and local phone service.
There is a small patio with chairs and a chaise lounge. The master bedroom has an en suite bath, while the second bedroom sits next to a full bathroom with shower. Each bathroom offers large closet areas.
The unit is available on a short-term and medium-term basis.
Rental charges:
Summer rates begin at Bds $4,000 (US $2,000) per month.
Winter rates begin at Bds $6,000 (US $3,000) per month.
Each rate includes a Bds $400 cap on electricity charges. Note that the owners routinely keep the electric bill under Bds $200 for a two-week stay, however running all three air conditioning units constantly will result in roughly Bds $1000 per month in total electrical costs.
